Original Abstract

in the given work we implemented catalytic synthesis of benzocaine, procaine, dicaine, lidocaine and its analogues by hydrogenation, hydroamination and hydroacylation on palladium-containing anion exchangers. Their high activity, selectivity and stability are shown under mild conditions (t=20-60°C, pH2 = 1 atm, org. sol), compared with the existing methods of synthesis of local anesthetics. Yield is 47-100%.

Keywords

palladium nanoparticles, anion exchangers, catalytic synthesis, drugs, hydrogenation, reductive amination, hydroacylation.
