Original Abstract

Editorský výběr sedmi teoretických textů představujících průřez současným kritickým myšlením na poli urbanismu a architektury v Evropě. Jejich autory jsou Markus Ambach, Regina Bittner, Petra Havelská, Gabu Heindl, Miodrag Kuč, Wouter Vanstiphout a Michael Zinganel. Východiskem pro volbu právě jejich příspěvků nám byla postdisciplinární perspektiva, z níž tyto osobnosti architektury, urbanismu a umění ve svých pracích vycházejí. Jejich texty pak – každý jiným způsobem, v jiném prostředí a navíc specifickým pohledem svého autora – osobitě reflektují problematiku boje o prostor a roli architektury jako cílené společenské praxe.

English abstract

Editorial selection of seven theoretical texts representing a cross-section of contemporary critical thinking in the field of urbanism and architecture in Europe. The authors are Markus Ambach, Regina Bittner, Petra Havelská, Gabu Heindl, Miodrag Kuc Wouter Vanstiphout and Michael Zinganel. The starting point for choosing these was a postdisciplinary perspective, in which are these persons and their work based. The texts then - each one in another way, in a different environment and also specific view of its author - individually reflect on the issue of contesting space and the role of architecture as a targeted social practice.
