Original Abstract

The paper outlines the Nguetseng's approach to non-periodic homogenization. The approach is based on replacing the period of structure by the notion of spectrum of homogenization Banach algebra and function spaces on the spectrum and two-scale convergence is replaced by Sigma-convergence.
