Předmětem zájmu byla výzva pivovaru Starobrno, a.s., která spočívala v návrhu nového designu pivních sklenic. Úkol byl zaměřen na návrh a tvorbu 3D reálného modelu pivní sklenice a její následnou výrobu pomocí aditivní technologie Rapid Prototyping s využitím komerčně dostupné metody Fused Deposition Modeling. K vytvoření 3D reálného modelu bylo využito parametrického CAD softwaru SolidWorks. Vlastní návrh pivní sklenice je koncipován jako starý dřevený pivní sud. Jeho jednoduchý tvar a vykreslené detaily dodávají sklenici realistický vzhled. V přední části je vymezeno místo pro logo pivovaru.

Object of interest has been the challenge brewery Starobrno, Inc., which consisted in the design of the new design beer glasses. The task was focused on the design and creation of 3D models of real beer glass and its subsequent production using additive rapid prototyping technology via commercially available methods Fused Deposition Modeling. Parametric CAD software SolidWorks was used to create a real 3D model. The design beer glass is designed like an old wooden beer barrel. The simple shape and defined details donate a realistic glass look. There is a location for the brewery logo in front.
