Original Abstract

This article deals with analysis of pitch of braid as one of the key parameters in manufacturing of hydraulic hoses. A data for the analysis were acquired in company Semperflex Optimit ltd. A part of the contribution is a description of manufacturing process of hydraulic hoses and the influence of measured parameters on the pitch of the braid. By the analysis of measured data, two most influencing parameters were found and its changes were suggested. The accuracy of measuring system was verified using statistical methods and the lack of preciseness was found out. Therefore the appropriate adjustments of measuring system were made.
