Original Abstract

The design of filters with a synthetic element of higher-order immittance function is described. The design of the higher-order synthetic immittance element with gyrator is described. Bipolar structures of gyrators are shown. Lowpass and bandpass filters with gyrators with higher order gyration admittance are designed. PSpice simulation of the fourth-order Butterworth lowpass filter is included.
