Original Abstract

Several approaches for incorporation of crumb rubber into hot mix exist in Europe. The most common approaches are asphalt rubber continuous blend, asphalt rubber terminal blend and pre-prepared concentrate. These processes are summarized in this article. The storage stability tests of various bitumens were performed and their properties evaluated. Performance tests of designed mixtures were evaluated and performance characteristics results of four porous asphalt mixtures are described in this article.
