Abstract

RG7 (Rasters for GRASS 7) je moderní a vysoce výkonná implementace rasterového sub-systému pro geografické informační systémy. Je založená na dlaždicovém přístupu a uložení dat v různých typech uložišť jako jsou například SQL databáze, soubory nebo WMS. RG7 je knihovna zaměřená na zpracování extremně velikých rastrových dat. Knihovna bude výhledově zařazena do známého GIS nástroje GRASS.

Abstract in English

RG7 (Rasters for GRASS 7) is a modern a highly efficient implementation of a raster sub-system within Geographic Information Systems. RG7 is based on tiling approach and stores data in various sorts of technical storages, e.g. SQL databases, file formats or even WMS. RG7 is a library indented for processing of extremely large raster files. In the near future, RG7 is supposed to be integrated within the wll known GIS system called GRASS.
