Original Title

Inverse reliability analysis in structural design

English Title

Inverse reliability analysis in structural design

Type

Paper in proceedings (conference paper)

Original Abstract

In the paper a new methodology for inverse reliability analysis is proposed and its usage in structural design is demonstrated. The aim of inverse reliability analysis is determination of input (design) parameters of analyzed problem which correspond to required reliability levels. Within the framework of statistical and reliability analyses of structures the reliability is described by reliability measures such as reliability index and failure probability.
