Abstract

Release 3.0 of BearDyn software is a new tool for a solution of slide bearing elasto-hydrodynamics. The inputs are reaction forces in slide bearing solved via Multi-Body Systems, computational languages or only EXCEL program. The Newton Raphson iterative schema is used for numeric solution of equilibrium. The oil film pressure is based on solution of Reynolds equation using finite difference method incorporating elastic deformations of shell and contact of roughness. The software includes pre-processor, solver and postprocessor modules.
