Original Abstract

This paper presents universal current conveyor (UCC) as a basic active element in analog filters. Its new advanced internal structure is described, which is designed to reach nearly ideal parameters in the VLSI integration. Some novel multifunction second order filters are introduced. They employ three UCCs and six grounded passive elements. Voltage and current mode variants offer three transfer functions simultaneously. Frequency characteristics of a filter variant are shown.
