Original Abstract

Despite the effort of research centers concerning devolopement and production of batteries all over the world, no ideal separator for all types of alkalic batteries is designed. Thanks wide range of offered materials suitable for battery separators, it can be selected the most convenient one for application in our designed alkalic accumulator. Selection depends on plenty specific features: wettability, swelling, ionic conductivity, electric resistivity, mechanical durability, chemical stability, furthermore availabilily on the market and price. Improvement of batteries depends apart from other things on advancing separators qualities. destabilization. Properties determination of the catalyst was carried out by the electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance method.
