Original Abstract

Various sorbents based on the modified silica were used for the separation and preconcentration of platinum group metals in the form of ion associates of their halo complexes with cationic surfactants from hydrochloric acid solution. The retained PGMs were eluted with acetonitrile and determined by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry after evaporation of organic solvent in the presence of HCl.

English abstract
