W2E Efficiency - Software for energy recovery assesment from waste incineration

Softwarový produkt W2E Efficiency představuje výpočtový nástroj pro hodnocení účinnosti využití energie z procesu termického zpracování odpadů. Software umožňuje dynamické propojení simulačního modelu spalovny tuhých komunálních odpadů na bázi hmotnostních a energetických bilancí s uživatelskými formuláři, ve kterých probíhá vyčíslení energetických toků a následně kritérií pro hodnocení stupně využití energie. Software umožňuje výpočet v souladu s legislativou EU (směrnice 98/2008/ES, kriterium R1). Software dále implementuje metodiku hodnocení založenou na vyčíslení kritéria primary energy savings (pes). Univerzální kritérium pes bylo použito k zavedení nového pojmu "vysoceúčinný proces energetického využití odpadů"

Software W2E Efficiency represents a computational tool for evaluation of energy recovery from waste incineration. Software enables dynamic interconnection between simulation model of municipal solid waste incinerator based on heat and mass balance calculation and a user form. In this form all-required energy fluxes are evaluated and introduced into equations for criteria evaluation. The methodology adopted in the software is in accordance with the EU legislation (directive EC/98/2008, formula R1). It also implements original methodology based on evaluation of primary energy savings (pes). This universal criterion is also used for defining a new term "highly-efficient" energy production from waste
