Abstract

Software simulation of an arbitrary ultrasound transmission tomography system. It consists of three main parts. The first part enables input of simulation parameters, i.e. parameters of the tomography system. The second part enables parametrization of the imaged object. The third, main, part generates radiofrequency signals for all combinations of senders and receivers. The software uses graphical user interface, implemented in Matlab. The simulation and object parameters can be entered in text files to enable an arbitrary geometry of the tomography system.
