Abstract

This tool is to create optimal communication schedules of broadcast and scatter communication patterns on an arbitrary wormhole interconnection networks. The tool takes the topology of interconnection network and spatial distribution of transmitters, receivers and switching nodes. Finally, the maximal time complexity of desired schedule is given as a parameter. The output of the algorithm is a conflict-free schedule containing neigher congestion nor contention of shared resources. The schedule is divided into time slots consisting of a set of simultaneous p2p transfers. Each transfer is described by a list of visited nodes.
