V rámci projektu integrovaného multidisciplinárního výukového informačního systému pro GIS byl ve spolupráci fakulty stavební a fakult architektury, podnikatelské a strojního inženýrství formulován obsah multidisciplinárního datového skladu VUT. Hlavním cílem projektu bylo vybudování informačního systému technologicky integrujícího výuku různých technických oborů a disciplin. Projekt byl přímo zaměřen na rozvoj moderních technologií uplatňovaných v bakalářských, magisterských a doktorských studijních programech v prezenční i kombinované formě, včetně podpory zdravotně handicapovaných studentů a uchazečů ze znevýhodněných sociálních skupin. Platforma datových serverů byla postavena na technologii ESRI ArcGIS. Multidisciplinární datový sklad by měl být využívatelný přes autorizovaný přístup prostřednictvím internetové sítě VUT až na úroveň zdrojových dat.

In the frame the project integrated and multidisciplinary tutorial information system for GIS contents of multidisciplinary data warehouse BUT in corporation with FCE, Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Business and Management and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering have been formulated. The main aim of the project was to build information system, which would technically integrate the tuition of various technical branches and disciplines. The project paid particular attention to the development of modern technologies applied in bachelor's, master's and doctoral study programs in full time mode and combined mode including the support of medically handicapped students and applicants recruited of disadvantaged social groups. The platform of data servers has been built on ESRI ArcGIS technology. Multidisciplinary data warehouse should be used by authorized access through BUT intranet up to the level of source data.
