The Vl2 has been developed as a direct result of the phenomenal growth in popularity of affordable hard disc systems. While these systems boast stunningly clean and quiet performance, most users recognise that resultant sound is somewhat cold and clinical. The Vl2 plugin is "really" exact simulation of TLAudio legendary eight channel valve interface VI1 unit. Each channel has unity gain - so the signal level throught the plugin are unaffected - but since each channel incorporates a valve stage, the audio signal benefits from the warmth of the valve characteristic. One improvement to oposite to the real VI1 unit is parameter "Saturation". The combination provides the perfect marriage of pristine digital quality with valve richness, yet functionally the Vl2 plugin is simplicity itself
