Original Abstract

This paper presents the problems of creating a numerical simulation of a die filling by liquid wax blends in software ProCAST 2009.1. The calculation model of this process is in prototyping phase of development, which means that the calculation model is accessible in the software ProCAST, however its suitable setting is not defined, and the suitable setting of calculation model for real process of filling is not validated. In the first stages were determined and measured material characteristics which have to be assigned to the material database of simulation software. This article focuses on the creation of material database for filled wax blend in ProCAST.
