Original Title

Temperature and Velocity Distribution in the Cross-section of Free Plasma Jet.

English Title

Temperature and Velocity Distribution in the Cross-section of Free Plasma Jet.

Type

Paper in proceedings (conference paper)

Original Abstract

Temperature field of plasma flow generated by arc heater is mapped by means of thermocouple inserted into a jet at defined points. The measured temperature is corrected by eliminating radiation loss using energy balance equation for thermocouple tip. Some examples of measured and corrected dependencies are given.
