Abstract

Original Abstract

This work deals with tuning of organic media using reversible light-driven switching of photochromic spiropyran. The significant change of dipole moment's size allows construction of simple switching unit. Several types of device composition were designed - blend, multilayered, and combined. Optical responses were studied using absorbance and photoluminescence measurement, whereas electrical responses, conductivity and capacity particularly, were detected by impedance and direct current measurement.
