The presented paper dealt in general with the nowadays discussed issue of tax systems competitiveness. The introduction of the paper focuses shortly on history and subsequently the pivoval attention was paid to the issue in question on the European Union level. Příspěvek blíže rozváděl Wilsonovu funkci užitku a prezentoval řešitelův náhled na danou problematiku, zejména pak vazbě mezi ukazatelem C (velikost soukromé spotřeby) a G (poskytovanými veřejnými statky).

English abstract
