Original Abstract

The paper describes a new approach to simplification before generation (SBG) analysis based on the modification of voltage and current graphs of a network. The topological approximation was developed with the aim to increase the effectiveness of the classical parameter reduction SBG 1) that often provides symbolical results that may still contain a lot of negligible terms. Transformations of the voltage and current graphs modify the topological structure of the network while the number of network parameters is invariable.
