English Title

Numerical simulation and experiments describing the behaviour of BCC steels at high strain rates

Type

Paper in proceedings (conference paper)

Original Abstract

The paper deals with mathematical models of BCC material flow stress, reflectin the influence of high strain rates and temperature. The Johnson Cook constitutive equation was proved to be very suitable for strain rate range 1 to 1000 s1. The definition of equation parameters was based on the impact Taylor test.
