Stress-ribbon and suspension pedestrian bridges are described in terms of their structural solution, the process of construction and the influence of the structural arrangement on the static and dynamic analysis. Both types of bridges have a very slender deck assembled from precast members formed by two edge girders stiffened by transverse ribs.
