Příručka uvádí zásadní technologické problémy při konstrukci vtokových soustav, nálitků, použití chladítek a věnuje se problematice vnitřních pnutí. Uvádí varianty jejich řešení a vliv na jakost odlitků. Obrazová dokumentace vychází z výsledků numerické simulace dějů.
