Original Abstract

The measurement of the time dependence of absorption characteristics is a rather exacting issue, since the measurement takes a long time (hours to days), during which it is necessary to keep the measurement conditions stable. Therefore many diagnostic methods strive to limit the measurement to the shortest possible time, although it would be desirable to know the steady-state value of the current or resistance. Therefore a model function was proposed which - with a sufficient accuracy – approximates the curve of the experimentally determined time dependencies of absorption currents and in spite of using relatively short measurements allows to determine the steady-state value of the current by mathematical extrapolation.
