Original Abstract

Thermal debinding represents the most widely employed way of removing binders from ceramic green bodies, mainly thanks to the relative simplicity of the method and of the necessary plant. The paper reviews mechanisms and processes of the thermal debinding and possibilities of optimizing the thermal debindig process.
