Original Abstract

A method is described of designing multifunction networks that can be used as filters in various operation modes. The initial network is an autonomous circuit with an appropriate characteristic equation. The procedure is demonstrated on networks with with general characteristic equation Y1Y3 + Y2Y4 = 0. Used as active elements are nullors, second-generation current conveyors and transconductors.
