Original Abstract

The values of compressive strength and elasticity modulus are very important for the determination of a suitable moment for introducing the loading, e.g. prestressing. For the purpose of determining the concrete characteristics in time it is advantageous to use the non-destructive methods of testing, which can be mutually combined to achieve considerably more accurate results. These are especially the hardness method and ultrasonic method of testing.
