Příspěvek podává ucelenou informaci o hornině, kterou nazýváme bentonit. Popisuje jeho rozdělení, historii, použití a charakteristické vlastnosti s ohledem na jeho použití jako těsnící bariery jaderného úložiště.

English abstract

The article gives a comprehensive information about the "Bentonite" soil material. It describes its classification, ways of use and characteristic properties viewed at in accordance to the intention to apply this material as an insulating barrier built within a nuclear waste depository.
