Original Abstract

This article deals with interoperability problem and ontologies. Main aim is connection an industrial fielbus AS-Interface with other systems. Two cases are described - connection with a higher level system and with a fieldbus on the similar level. Basic principles to solve the interoperability problem in heterogenous systems are defined. The ontology theory, which is used as a mean to reach the interoperability issue, is presented.
