Original Abstract

Dense spray streams produced by a three hole gasoline direct injector have been characterised in the near nozzle region using single shot CCD imaging and the phase Doppler technique in one and two component velocity configuration. The conclusion reached was that one component measurements in dense sprays provide the better estimates for dropsize.
