Original Abstract

In-vivo imaging belongs to the one of the most promising non-invasive tools for bio-research. In this study, we employed in-vivo imager to analyse sunflower plants treated with two concentration of (CdSe)ZnS quantum dots. It was found that treatment with higher concentration resulted in poor growth and development compared to control plants. In-vivo imaging revealed that quantum dots used in our experiments were not suitable due to extremely high autofluorescence of plants. However, we discovered appropriate excitation and emission wavelengths for the following experiments.ents.
