Original Abstract

The results of fracture experiments on fibre lightweight concrete specimens are presented in this paper. The main aim is the determination and comparison of mechanical/fracture parameter values of a composite both without and with polypropylene (PP) fibres FORTA of two length: 54 and 38 mm. It covers especially following parameters: effective fracture toughness and work of fracture (fracture energy).
