Original Abstract
In this paper, the method for combining multiple measured patches (array positions) for localization and characterization of sound sources in large scale is described. The proposed method incorporates usage of reference sensor in multiple positions for determination of correlation between neighbouring measured pressure array positions data. The main kernel of the algorithm is based on near-field acoustic holography method with spatial transformation and adaptive aperture enlargement. The possibility of using other processing algorithms has been discussed. The method can combine the patches in spatial or wavenumber domain. Evaluation of the proposed method is presented on simulated test cases with multiple sources and strength. Definition of the percentage of the overlapping and determination of the importance of the reference sensor positioning has been described. Analysis of correlation based on reference sensor signal has been also carried out with interpretation of the results. Also comparison and evaluation of the procedure for combining multiple patches in both domains has been presented.
