Original Abstract

Under sleeper pads are new elements in track structures in the Czech Republic. They are suitable elements for a decrease of ballast bed stresses according to european railway authorities. There were built up two test track sections with under sleeper pads in the Czech Republic in 2008. One test section is in a narrow curve, the other is in a turnout. The parameters of the test track sections and results from measurements are described in the article.
