Original Abstract

These days sleepers with under sleeper pads are tested in the Czech Republic with the aim to reduce compression stress in ballast bed and to homogenize vertical stiffness of railway track. Testing and certifying of under sleeper pads quality is necessary for these sleepers for specific application. The static and dynamic bedding modulus are tested on the ballast test plate. The paper is focused on a developing of new test plate.
