Original Abstract

The paper deals with simple design of artificial magnetic conductors (AMC) with improved angular stability. Results for square unit cell and square metallic patch are compared to angular sensitivity of a genetic algorithm designed AMC from the open literature. A novel technique for reflection phase computation is introduced, which uses the commercial software CST Microwave Studio and Matlab for post-processing.
