Original Abstract

The character of cement clinker burning process during which there is produced multiparameter non-linear system in the rotary kiln whose description and optimization are nearly impossible to achieve regarding the exact mathematical methods. By this way all trials for controlling by classic regulators or classic mathematical models etc. failure. This contribution is devoted to linguistic models on the base of fuzzy logic as one of the possible forms of experimental systems, which can be used for description, and controlling within these complicated multiparameter non-linear systems. It deals with practical application in the field of controlling the cement kiln production line and it summarizes concrete results, which were achieved to their controlling on the base of linguistic models.
