Original Abstract

The calculation of net emission coefficients is reviewed. Particular attention is given to the contribution of molecular species which is a significant problem in low temperature regions. Thermal plasmas of SF6, PTFE, air, H2O, argon and their various mixtures are considered at various temperatures and pressures. Tables and viewgraphs of net emission coefficients as a function of the plasma temperature and dimensions are presented.
