Original Abstract

The paper presents a study of influence of selected material and structural parameters on mechanical response of pre-stressed monoblock railway sleepers used on Czech railway tracks. The influence of variation of selected parameters on structural behaviour of studied pre-cast structural members is investigated by means of numerical modelling of standartized static loading tests, which are used as a tool for quality control of sleepers productions according to European Standads for railway applications. The tests are numerically simulated using nonlinear FEM software ATENA.
