Original Abstract

To determine the quality of the Optical Wireless Links (OWL), there is necessary to establish the availability and the probability of interruption. This quality can be defined by the optical beam bit error rate (BER). Bit error rate BER presents the percentage of successfully transmitted bits. For measuring and recording of BER at OWL the bit error ratio tester (BERT) has been developed.
