Original Abstract

This paper deals with verifying methods for determining the efficiency of buck convertor and their optimization. Various loss calculation methods are compared with simulations and experimental measurements on a realized prototype. The comparison is conducted for different values of switching frequency, duty cycle, output current, and input voltage. Based on the obtained results, the power supply is then optimized to increase its efficiency.
