Original Abstract

The paper presents the results of an experimental study on the use of recycled glass from photovoltaic panels as a 100% replacement for natural aggregate in cementitious composites. In addition, replacing natural aggregate with RGA significantly improves insulation by reducing thermal conductivity and diffusivity, reduces water adsorption, reduces water consumption, metal depletion and soil encroachment, and improves moisture resistance due to reduced porosity. The results highlight the complex balance between performance benefits and environmental impacts of integrating RGA into cementitious composites.
