Metodika je zaměřena na problematiku mikroskopických modelů evakuace dopravních staveb, zejména výpravních budov nádraží a stanic, ale lze ji uplatnit i na obdobné dopravní stavby jako jsou autobusová nádraží nebo volně přístupné prostory letišť. Tyto stavby se v mnoha faktorech odlišují od ostatních občanských staveb a to zejména z pohledu svého uspořádání, fungování a možných hrozeb, což vyžaduje odlišné postupy přípravy modelů evakuace, zejména z důvodu výrazně vyššího počtu možných variant evakuačních scénářů. Rovněž je nutné brát v úvahu délku přípravy těchto staveb, která je vzhledem ke své komplexnosti a návaznosti na ostatní prvky infrastruktury zpravidla výrazně delší, než v jiných případech a parametry evakuace je tak nutné ověřovat v různých stupních projektové dokumentace.

The methodology is focused on the issue of microscopic models of evacuation of transport structures, especially station and station buildings, but it can also be applied to similar transport structures such as bus stations or open-air areas of airports. These buildings differ in many factors from other civil buildings, especially in terms of their layout, functioning and potential threats, which requires different procedures for the preparation of evacuation models, especially due to the significantly higher number of possible evacuation scenarios. It is also necessary to take into account the length of preparation of these buildings, which is usually significantly longer than in other cases, due to their complexity and connection to other infrastructure elements, and the evacuation parameters must be verified at different stages of the project documentation.
