Abstract
The functional sample of the smart wireless vibration sensor is a low-power battery powered measuring instrument for vibrodiagnostic purposes. It uses several vibration sensing MEMS elements used for vibration sensing, storing and ongoing analysis and also for wake-up function of the device from sleep mode, when no vibrations are present. Beside the MEMS sensors, the instrument also contains a low power STM32 microcontroller with wireless Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) capabilities, a Li-Po battery pack supporting wireless charging using Qi standard and an internal non-volatile memory for the measured data storage. The functional sample is designed as a compact instrument with standard M5 thread mounting hole and integrated magnets for quick or short-term installation on the measured machine. The sensor has implemented wireless proprietary BLE communication protocol for transmission of the stored data.
