Original Abstract

The aim of the paper is to compare the most frequently used methods for surveying historical objects. These methods are: terrestrial confusion, laser scanning, photogrammetry and GNSS satellite methods. The article discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the mentioned methods, their laboriousness, time-consuming nature and problems during final processing in suitable software. Experimental results were obtained during surveying of the heritage protected chapel "Christ on the Mount of Olives", which is part of the Ursula´s convent on Josefská street in Brno (Czech Republic).
