Original Abstract

Vesmírná sonda NASA OSIRIS-REx v září 2023 úspěšně dopravila na Zemi částečky nezpevněného horninového materiálu z povrchu planetky Bennu. Vědci nyní drahocenný mimozemský náklad zkoumají. První empirické výsledky studia geologického materiálu z návratového modulu představily mezinárodní vědecké týmy na 55. ročníku Lunární a planetární vědecké konference (LPSC 2024), pořádané mezi 11. a 15. březnem ve městě Woodlands v americkém Texasu.

English abstract

In September 2023, the NASA OSIRIS-REx spacecraft successfully delivered particles of unconsolidated rock material from the surface of the planet Bennu to Earth. Scientists are now investigating the precious extraterrestrial cargo. The first empirical results of the study of geological material from the return module were presented by international scientific teams at the 55th Lunar and Planetary Science Conference (LPSC 2024), held between March 11 and 15, 2024 in Woodlands, Texas, USA.
