PLC (Power Line Communication) modul využívá existující silnoproudé vedení pro připojení prvků výroby a spotřeby za odběrným místem k rozhraní HAN elektroměru. Tímto připojením na HAN rozhraní elektroměru bude umožněno řízení a automatizace koncových prvků jako jsou FVE, dobíjecí wallboxy, spotřebiče, bateriová úložiště a další prvky obousměrnou zabezpečenou komunikací v reálném čase. Společně s elektroměrem a nadřazeným SW modul umožní také náhradu současného systému HDO a zajistí možnost řízení elektrického vytápění či ohřevu vody.

The PLC (Power Line Communication) module uses existing power lines to connect the production and consumption elements (loads) to the HAN interface of the smart meter. This connection to the HAN interface of smart meter will enable control and automation of end-use elements such as PV plants, charging wallboxes, appliances, battery storage and other elements through real-time two-way secure communication. Together with the smart meter and the Head End System, the module will also allow the replacement of the current HDO system and provide the possibility of controlling electric heating or water heating.
